Kourtney Kardashian is the latest celebrity to collaborate with sister Kim Kardashian for a SKIMS campaign and the two teamed up for one that is definitely interesting to look at, with the help of Dolce & Gabbana.
The siblings, whose famously bitter feud over the luxury brand played out on The Kardashians, channel vintage Italian cinematic looks in ads for the lingerie, shapewear and loungewear company's upcoming limited edition collection.
In the photos, Kim, 44, sports a layered shag hairstyle in the campaign, while Kourtney, 45, showcases bangs and a head scarf as they pose in leopard-print bodysuits and lingerie.
Kim sports a layered shag hairstyle in the campaign, while Kourtney showcases bangs and also wears a scarf tied around her head. Both wear leopard-print bodysuits and lingerie in several scenes. One shows Kourtney standing and braiding her sister's hair.
"DOLCE & GABBANA x SKIMS: Starring @kourtneykardash," Kim wrote on her Instagram Nov. 14. "The timeless Italian allure of Dolce & Gabbana meets signature SKIMS fabrics and figure-shaping styles. The limited-edition collection launches on Tuesday, November 19 at 9AM ET on SKIMS.com, in SKIMS stores and in select #DolceGabbana boutiques."
On The Kardashians in 2022, the sisters were shown to be involved in a feud that stemmed from the sisters’ respective ties to Dolce & Gabbana. At the time, Kim collaborated with the Italian brand on a fashion line just months after cofounders Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana hosted Kourtney’s wedding to Travis Barker in Italy and also designed her bridal outfit.
The Poosh founder had alleged that the collab was "copying" the theme of her nuptials. Kim denied this while making a similar accusation on how Kourtney may have gotten inspiration from her own 2014 wedding to now-ex Kanye West.
"I got married in Italy. Am I saying you copied me by getting married in Italy?" Kim said on the reality show. "Who performed at my wedding? Andrea Bocelli. Who performed at Kourtney's wedding? Andrea Bocelli."
She added, "You stole my f--king wedding country and my wedding performer. Andrea Bocelli is my favorite male singer of all time, but I'm copying her 'Dolce Vita' lifestyle? OK."
Meanwhile, Dolce & Gabbana's co-founders signaled that their new collaboration with the SKIMS founder stemmed from their personal connection to the Kardashian-Jenners.
"We hold a genuine affection for Kim and her family," they said in a statement to E! News. "Our shared bond, rooted in a long-standing friendship, naturally inspired this new collaboration centered on inclusivity and body positivity—values close to our hearts and core to Skims."
