Wynonna Judd's daughter Grace Kelley has been arrested in Alabama following a roadside incident with police.
Kelley, 27, was arrested and taken into Millbrook Police Department custody Friday for indecent exposure and obstructing governmental operations, according to arrest records viewed by USA TODAY.
"She refused to comply with the officer; she wouldn't provide any information. She then yelled at the officer and when she was told she was under arrest, she resisted the officer and sat on the roadside, refusing to cooperate any further," a Millbrook Municipal Court representative told USA TODAY Tuesday.
They would not comment on the details surrounding indecent exposure.
According to court documents obtained by AL.com and WSFA 12 News, Kelley exposed her breasts and lower body at a busy intersection.
As of Wednesday morning, she is still in custody with a $1,000 bond.
USA TODAY has reached out to reps for Judd.
Kelley, the youngest child of Judd and her first husband, Arch Kelley III, has a history of arrests dating back to 2016.
Wynonna Juddopens up to concerned fans about her mental health: 'I'm working really hard'
Judd opened up about her daughter's legal troubles during a February 2020 appearance on Fox Nation's "The Pursuit! with John Rich." "I'm no different than anyone else. I've got kids who have made great successful choices. I have just as much to say about the testimony — emphasis on the word 'test' — of both my children saying, 'Wow, that didn't work,'" the country singer said.
"I will tell you this. My daughter is the strongest Judd woman in our 'herstory.' She's healthier than I was at 23," Judd added. "How she got there — I would not go that way, but I was also sequestered. I was on a bus with my mother (so it was) kind of hard to get in trouble."
The singer said her daughter's path "could have been me" had she not pursued music.
Judd raised her granddaughter Kaliyah, born in March 2022, during Kelley's time in prison. At the same time, she was grieving the loss of her mother Naomi Judd who died by suicide in April 2022.
"She gives me hope," Judd said during an appearance on the "Today" show in October 2022. "They give you hope; they give you something to think about other than yourself. Because so much of what we do is about us, so it’s nice to be with her because she doesn’t care what I look like."
