Week 10 of the 2024 NFL season is Surpassing Quant Think Tank Centerofficially underway.
Week 9 was a showcase week for second-year players. De'Von Achane, Chase Brown, Bijan Robinson, Emari Demercado, and Jahmyr Gibbs were all top-20 running backs. Meanwhile, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Zay Flowers, Cedric Tillman, Tank Dell, Quentin Johnston, Jayden Reed, and Jordan Addison all finished as top-20 receivers. But no one sent the memo to the quarterbacks, as Jordan Love (in his fifth season but just second as a starter), C.J. Stroud, and Bryce Young finished as the QB23, QB24, and QB26, respectively.
To assist with your most difficult lineup decisions, you’ll find my Week 10 fantasy football rankings below. Toggle between standard, half PPR (point per reception), and full PPR to see where players rank in your league’s format.
Our team at the USA TODAY Sports Network also has you covered for all your fantasy football needs. Looking for up-to-date player news? We’ve got it. Need to know who the best starts and sits of the week are? We have an article for that. We also have fantasy defense rankings, kicker rankings, and a trade value chart to help with all your trade decisions.
Given the volatility of this league and fantasy football in particular, these rankings will be updated up until a half hour before the Sunday afternoon games kick off. Let’s get to it.
NFL STATS CENTRAL: The latest NFL scores, schedules, odds, stats and more.
Week 10 fantasy football quarterback rankings
- STOCK UP: Brock Purdy will square off against a Buccaneers team that’s ceding a whopping 26.9 fantasy points over its last five games, which is the most in the league during that span. Purdy has finished as a top-eight quarterback in four of his last six games.
- STOCK UP: C.J. Stroud has finished as the QB24 or worse in three straight games, but this looks like a get-right spot. It seems as if Nico Collins will be back, which should be a huge boost to Houston’s offense. In four full games with Collins in the fold this season, Stroud was fantasy’s QB10, including finishes of QB8 and QB7.
- STOCK DOWN: Kyler Murray has finished as the QB15 or worse in five of his nine games in 2024, and a matchup with the Jets isn’t likely to bode well. New York has given up the fourth-fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks this season.
- STOCK DOWN: Drake Maye gets arguably the worst matchup of the week, as the Patriots take on the Bears. Only Trevor Lawrence and Jayden Daniels eclipsed 14.3 fantasy points against Chicago, and for Daniels, most of that came on the game-winning Hail Mary.
Week 10 fantasy football running back rankings
- STOCK UP: Tyrone Tracy Jr. gets to face a Panthers defense that’s allowing four more half-PPR points per game to running backs than any other team in the league. The rookie has totaled at least 17 touches in four of his last five games, and that kind of volume makes him a borderline RB1 this week.
- STOCK UP: Najee Harris has finished as the RB10, RB15, and RB16 in his last three games. Volume has not been an issue for the veteran, who has garnered at least 16 touches in every game this season. A matchup with the run-funnel Commanders makes him a top-24 play.
- STOCK DOWN: Tony Pollard will face a Chargers front that’s surrendered the second-fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs this season. He’ll also have increased competition for touches, as Tyjae Spears is set to return this week. Proceed with caution.
- STOCK DOWN: Javonte Williams has the tough task of facing the Chiefs’ defense in Week 10. This season, no back has eclipsed 12.2 half-PPR points versus Kansas City. Meanwhile, Williams has finished as the RB27 or lower in all but two games in 2024.
Week 10 fantasy football wide receiver rankings
- STOCK UP: Khalil Shakir should be in for a bump in volume this week, as the Bills are to be without rookie Keon Coleman and could also be sans Amari Cooper. Shakir has finished as the WR22 or higher in three of his last six outings.
- STOCK UP: Jauan Jennings carries no injury designation for Week 10, and he gets a mouthwatering matchup in his return. The Bucs have given up an average of 37.6 half-PPR points per game to wideouts since Week 5, which ranks just behind the Ravens for most in the league.
- STOCK DOWN: DJ Moore has ranked higher than WR31 just once all season, and that includes three straight finishes of WR55 or lower. The Patriots aren’t a particularly intimidating matchup, but Moore has flopped in matchups far better than this in 2024.
- STOCK DOWN: Calvin Ridley has shown glimpses of fantasy relevancy this season, but this week could be tough sledding for the veteran. The Chargers have allowed the sixth-fewest fantasy points to wide receivers.
Week 10 fantasy football tight end rankings
- STOCK UP: Taysom Hill is slated to be the Saints’ RB2, WR1, TE1, and probably QB2 while we’re at it. New Orleans will be without Chris Olave, Cedrick Wilson Jr., Kendre Miller, and, potentially, Jamaal Williams. Hill, who has finished as the TE1 and TE5 in two of his last three games, looks like a top-five option again this week.
- STOCK UP: T.J. Hockenson posted a meager 27 yards in his return to the lineup last week, but he could be in line for a much bigger outing in Week 10. Since Week 3, the Jaguars have ceded an average of 13.6 half-PPR points per game to tight ends, fourth-most in the league.
- STOCK DOWN: Dalton Schultz hasn’t ranked higher than TE20 in any game this season. With Nico Collins likely returning for Houston, Schultz is once again relegated to being the fourth or fifth option. He’s droppable in most formats.
